1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern the supply of products and services by Liquid Chlorine Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”) to the customer (“you”, “your”).

By purchasing products from us or using our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Products

We supply products including but not limited to:

• Liquid chlorine

• Sodium hypochlorite solutions

• Pool chemicals

• Salt tablets

• Associated water treatment products

All products are subject to availability.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue products at any time without notice.

3. Pricing

• All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).

• Prices may be subject to GST unless otherwise stated.

• We reserve the right to change pricing at any time.

• Freight or delivery charges may apply unless agreed otherwise.

Quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote.

4. Orders

An order is confirmed once:

• You receive written confirmation from us; or

• Payment has been processed; or

• Goods are dispatched.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel orders at our discretion.

5. Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• Payment is due prior to dispatch.

• Credit account customers must pay within the agreed credit terms.

• Late payments may incur interest and recovery costs.

Ownership of goods remains with Liquid Chlorine Ltd until payment is received in full.

6. Delivery

• Delivery timeframes are estimates only.

• We are not liable for delays caused by third parties or events outside our control.

• Risk passes to the customer upon delivery.

You must inspect goods upon delivery and notify us of any damage or shortages within 48 hours.

7. Storage & Handling

Liquid chlorine and related chemicals must be:

• Stored correctly

• Handled in accordance with safety guidelines

• Used in compliance with relevant regulations

We are not responsible for damage or injury resulting from improper storage, handling or use.

8. Returns & Refunds

Due to the nature of chemical products:

• We do not accept returns of hazardous or chemical goods unless defective.

• Claims for defects must be made within 7 days of delivery.

• Products must not have been used, altered or contaminated.

Refunds or replacements are at our discretion and subject to the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 where applicable.

9. Consumer Guarantees Act

If you are purchasing for business purposes, you agree that the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply.

If you are purchasing for personal use, your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act are not excluded.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Our liability is limited to the replacement of goods or refund of the purchase price.

• We are not liable for indirect, consequential or loss of profit damages.

• We are not liable for issues arising from misuse or incorrect application of products.

11. Website Use

You agree not to:

• Misuse the website

• Attempt unauthorised access

• Transmit malicious code

All website content remains the property of Liquid Chlorine Ltd and may not be reproduced without permission.

12. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters

• Supply chain disruption

• Government restrictions

• Transport delays

• Branding

• Product descriptions

Is owned by Liquid Chlorine Ltd unless otherwise stated.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
